Welcome to our North Carolina campus, located in Smithfield at Johnston Regional Airport (JNX). With its uncrowded airspace, varied terrain, and proximity to both towered and non-towered airports, JNX provides the ideal environment for focused and efficient flight training. The location offers favorable weather year-round (almost as good as Florida), maximizing your flying opportunities and helping you progress quickly while avoiding the weather problems of the North. 

Nestled in the heart of Johnston County, Smithfield offers a charming small-town atmosphere with easy access to nearby Clayton, known for its thriving arts scene and welcoming community. Just a short drive away is Raleigh, the state’s vibrant capital, where you can explore world-class museums, trendy restaurants, and a variety of entertainment options, including live music, theaters, and sports events. Our students find a welcoming home at the Pines at Glen Laurel Apartments or at Amelia Village Apartments, nestled in the heart of Clayton, NC. Just a short 15-minute drive from our cutting-edge pilot training facility at Johnston Regional Airport (KJNX), this community offers both convenience and a sense of belonging. Relax in the pool, enjoy a workout, or walk to great nearby dining!

The apartments are all 3 bedroom / 2 bath, and the rooms are shared two students to a room. Private bedrooms are available for an additional cost and subject to availability. Actual housing (apartments or houses, location, etc. subject to change based on student loans and availability).
