Blue Line Aviation's Fly Right Scholarship is a $100,000 flight training scholarship that will be awarded this school year to a Polk County graduate. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who soars above and beyond to do what's right, who has a high level of personal ethics and character, and who positively contributes to the world around them, as nominated by their teachers and peers and approved by an impartial panel.
The top applicant will be awarded a $100,000 scholarship, 2nd-5th place applicants will each receive $15,000 off the Career Pilot Program, and 6th-10th place applicants will receive $7,500 off the Career Pilot Program at Blue Line Aviation.

When can I submit my application?
Application window opens February 1st, 2024 and will close April 30th, 2024.
How long does it take to apply?
The application process involves multiple steps. You can begin the application as soon as we announce that they are open for submission. The initial application involves submitting information about yourself, as well as reference letters and a short essay. After your initial application, you will receive a link to complete the Predictive Index Behavioral and Cognitive Assessments.
What are the criteria for the student selected?
- Must be graduating from a public high school in Polk County, FL.
- Must be 18 years of age by July 1st, 2024.
- Must be able to obtain a 1st class FAA medical certificate by July 1st, 2024.
- Answer a few questions on our submission form.
- Submit a 500 word essay about how the Fly Right Scholarship will make a difference for you.
- Submit 2 letters of recommendation from either teachers, counselors, mentors, etc.
- Submit your report card or transcript to show that you’ve been maintaining a good GPA.
Race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, religion, nationality, and socioeconomic status will not be considered.

You can use the Fly Right Scholarship to enroll in Blue Line Aviation's Career Pilot Program. The Polk County Fly Right Scholarship is for enrollment at our Winter Haven campus at the Winter Haven Regional Airport in Winter Haven, FL!
Can I still attend Blue Line Aviation's program if I don't get selected for the Fly Right Scholarship?
Of course! If you are not selected for the Fly Right Scholarship, you can attend Blue Line Aviation by applying for the Career Pilot Program. Just submit your information to speak to a Training Advisor to get started!
